Well, show season is well under way now and June was a month full of Highland games for us, some we've been attending for years with Strathmore games being one of our favourites. Located in the grounds of Glamis Castle, this games is a lovely traditional Scottish day out, fun for all the family!
We were a bit concerned about the weather and wet ground as we set up the night before, with a few of our fellow traders getting a wee bit stuck in the mud. But luckily everyone got sorted and set up safely.
The other reason we particularly enjoy Strathmore games, is as it is such a lovely site. And once the stall is set up, we take the opportunity to explore the grounds of the castle itself. There are loads of nooks and crannies to explore, with wonderful trees, gardens and sculptures. Foss dog particularly enjoys this bit of the day!
