With Christmas a distant memory and the celebrations of New Year well and truly over, its time to look to the year ahead. As snow covers the Highlands of Scotland, we hunker down in the workshop producing stock for the seasons to come.
Not always easy, when the temperatures are so low the machines are slow to start, and numb fingers can make detailed work tricky!
But with a new heater in the workshop, as long as you remember to turn it on an hour or so before work begins, all is well.
And on the days with blue skies and snow on the ground, a wee lunchtime walk with the dog in the forest soon gets the blood circulating again ready for a few more hours work.
It’s cold here in the winter, but we wouldn’t be anywhere else.
