Hope you're all looking forward to the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Mixed feelings here, always nice to have a wee holiday, even if it's just a bit of extra time in the garden! But this weekend is traditionally the start of our show season, and this year, of course, all of our shows and events have been cancelled. But we're not going to let it keep us down! We'll miss being out on the road, but it's a great opportunity to try new things.
For example, this weekend I am taking part in the Makers Market from Home! Located on Instagram, it's a great way to get in touch with folk, and to spread the word about our products. All you have to do to get involved, is to follow me on Instagram or search the hashtag #makersmarketfromhome
The way it works, is that myself and other Makers, will set up our stalls at home, take a picture and post it on Instagram. You can use the hashtag to find all these great stalls and makers, and hopefully, something will take your fancy! A brilliant way to support those, who like many others, find their way of life a bit, different, this year.
Myself and other makers, will be manning our 'stalls' through the day, to answer questions and take orders. I also plan to do some live videos to show you a few products in more detail.
As I said, this year is a great opportunity to try new things, and I'm very much looking forward to exploring new ways to meet new customers!
See you there! And spread the word.
Sneaky preview of my stall mid set up, its a bit more compact than normal!
